Christ Center Church was birthed into the earth realm by God's sovereign spirit through Pastor Alvin Ashley, Sr. Pastor and Co-Pastor Brenda Ashley.

As God shifted the vision, His instructions to them were to become a One-Flesh Ministry. After meeting approximately 1 year in the Pelican Inn Hotel, God gave Pastor Ashley the vision to acquire our former Ministry Headquarters, 1920 Jewella Avenue, in Shreveport, Louisiana. God performed a supernatural surprising and they purchased the present headquarters in September of 1999. Little did they know that under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Alvin Ashley, this monthly gathering would be pushed into full time ministry, meeting every Sunday. In January of 2000, S.I.S.T.E.R.S. stepped into a new era of ministry with the purpose of meeting the needs of the entire family. Pastor Alvin Ashley, under the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, had been given the task of taking this ministry to the next dimension. In October of 2001, Pastor Alvin Ashley birthed in the earth realm, "EMPOWERING DISCIPLES" Bible Study. In March 2002, God moved again, speaking to Pastor Alvin Ashley, the vision shifted into Christ Center Church...Home of S.I.S.T.E.R.S. International Ministries & Restoration Crisis Center. Pastors Alvin and Brenda Ashley's goals are to SAVE THE LOST AT ANY COST and make God true disciples. In April 2007, God moved again and we purchased our new location at 6808 Jefferson Paige Rd., Shreveport, LA. This time God blessed us with 47,000 square feet and 20 acres of land to further His Kingdom. By no means is this story complete. So stay tuned...

Vision Statement

To Build People to be True Disciples for Christ, by Practicable and Attainable Teachings.

To know the Will of God, the Wisdom of God, and the Ways of God, by His Word.

Also, to Empower Families through Training, to Call all things back to God's Ordained Order for Kingdom Living!!!

Mission Statement

Christ Center Church Mission is to implement the kingdom of God teachings on earth, practicable and attainable through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Teaching of true convictions and purity of motives toward the principles of Christ. This mission is a divine mandate to educate, train, tutor and teach the glorious gospel of Christ to all mankind around the world. This mission is to call all things back to God's Ordained Order:

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loves the church and gave Himself for it.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands as it is fit in the Lord.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Church, "and God gave some apostles, and some prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfection of the saints, work of the ministry and the edifying of the Body of Christ."

We also stand strong to empower the family as a whole, to exercise their biblical rights to be successful in all levels of their lives, which is called Victorious Living in Christ Jesus. Last, but not least, to reach the lost at any cost for Christ, BY HIS WORD!

Purpose Statement

Christ Center Church Purpose is to be a New Era Ministry, commissioned by God to make God disciples! That the people can walk in and possess their total prosperity in God - spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and socially. To provoke this generation to know God's voice and hunger for His presence. To arise to the call of greatness as they maintain a holy conduct and a wholesome lifestyle pleasing to God.

Our purpose is:

To prepare apostolic and prophetic believers to recognize their calling and placement into the Body of Christ.
To produce people of purpose, with an ability to become powerful people of prayer. That they may attain results in this present age by praying in faith to Almighty God.
To bring confirmation to the call of God in the lives of His people.
Truly, our heart is to be a training center for God's kingdom building, for God's people to help them fulfill their God given vision, which is called their Divine Destiny BY HIS WORD!
